Emma's impression of her favorite commercial:

Pirate Day!

Today, for Emma, is Pirate Day! She used an old wooden flower pot from my craft box as a peg-leg for Miss Buster (her little dog, if you don't know who that is, read back and become educated!) and then made an eye patch out of black paper and glued it to her face.

Frank is nervous.

Frank has a two hour programming test for a company is Las Vegas tomorrow...he's kinda nervous. I hope it goes well. Las Vegas is only a 6 hour drive from Salt Lake City...Wish him luck!!!

Stuff

Well, as many know Frank was forced to quit his job because he thinks he needs to be paid for working...LOL

Let me explain those who don't know.

Frank worked for a company called Sensory Sweep, or SS as we will call them. (You can insert any rude or crude words for the S's you'd like.) Well, SS is run my a moron. This moron has mismanaged his own company to the point where Frank as well as every other employee was owed 2-3 paychecks. Frank and I simply couldn't afford for him to spend 40+ hours a week working for nothing.

So he quit.

He then was more or less insured a job at a company called Midway...(this is a HUGE video game company.) But the economy being what it is, the company was sold, then restructured and the branch in Austin Texas (where Frank and I were ready to move) was closed.

Then came the holidays...and so we heard little to nothing, because let's face it, companies don't bother with a lot of hiring during Christmas and New Years. But as of last week things have been moving again, Frank got half a dozen calls from companies and recruiters.

I have no doubt he'll have a job in the next few weeks....but WHERE is the question. He came close to getting a job in L.A. that paid 100k!!! BUT...neither of us wanted to go to L.A. anyway...No offense to my family in Southern California...but...100k there doesn't go as far as 60k in Utah...LOL

Frank has applied to a few other jobs here in Utah, one he is being seriously considered for is in Las Vegas. Another is in the San Fransisco area.

So, round and round we go...and I have no idea where our little family will end up.

Forgive my lack of posts, this kind of stress makes me less than cheerful...*sigh*
