Christmas Tree Hunt 2011!

We picked out our Christmas tree and I got some very sweet photos of Emma. Every fall I like to take some cute portrait type photos of Emma, I guess it's her version of "school photos".

Wheeler Farm

I took Emma and her best friend Gwen to Wheeler farm. They got to milk a cow and pet some horses and goats. Fun times! They wore their cowboy hats for good measure.

I took Emma and Kira to the Aquarium! It was really fun.

Piano Lessons!

Emma started piano lessons today. I think it's the start of a great journey for her. She's very excited and we found a great teacher.

Frank's 30th Birthday

For Frank's 30th birthday Emma wanted to do a presentation on Frank's favorite dinosaur. I was so THRILLED to get to help her with this. She said she wanted me to use my "great craft skills" to help make a really cool dino habitat for the Stegosaurus we fashioned together out of air dry clay. We then read up on the Stegosaurus and created a speech Emma could give. She was so excited to give her first "official speech"...and so was I. She practiced this presentation about 15 times with me and finally on the morning of Frank's birthday she got to show him. Keeping this a secret was really difficult...but we pulled it off. I will have a video of Emma's speech soon...I promise!






Frank loved it. I think it's the best gift he's ever gotten. Later that day we went to the dinosaur museum and Frank and Emma each bought a small fossil. Great 30th birthday!

Of course under the supervision of Frank, but just like her father she has an unending sense of humor. I get to live with the 2 funniest people I know. It's awesome!

Swim Class!

Emma has been taking swim lessons at the community center with her friends Patience and Dante. She's learned so much and she's having a blast!
