I just about stopped breathing and said "Emma no no no! You don't ever ride in the street, you never go into the street for ANYTHING unless you are holding my hand!"
Emma with an annoyed sigh, "Mama, it's JUST a STORY! Calm down now!"

"Not OWLS. Owls are nocturnal."

Utah Lake
This past Saturday was actually a fairly nice day so we took advantage and drove to Utah Lake (in Provo Utah) and went bird watching! YES...MORE BIRDS!
We had a great time and we saw a Bald Eagle and an American Kestrel (a very small falcon type bird.) So, below are pictures of our day. It was so great...we wore ourselves out walking around, looking at everything...the lake was FROZEN...wow! I had no idea it would freeze like that....I knew SOME of it would be frozen, but not the whole damn thing! (Yes, I know, it's only frozen on top....LOL)

Emma's Bed
Emma has FINALLY learned to sleep in her own room...It's been a long road of trying and failing...but now she really seems to like sleeping in her pretty room alone. When she learned her mama liked her own room when she was little that convinced her it was great! LOL So here are some pics of her very purple and yellow bedroom.
